More Penn State Photos

Here are some photos from the Penn State game last week.

We call these games "Maize Out" games because everyone is supposed to wear Maize. This is a photo of part of the student section. It doesn't quite capture the feeling of being there, though. Believe it or not, this game was not nearly as crowded as the one against Notre Dame.

Here are the teams entering the stadium.

John brought his friend Jiten to his first football game ever. I'll be going to Jiten's wedding in October (as well as to another one of John's friend's weddings in Green Bay, Wisconsin).

John and me, wearing maize. :-)

There were over 111,000 people here that day. Once again, the most people anywhere in the U.S. watching a football game that day.

This was the band after-game show. We walked over there to meet Hilary, Mike, and Hilary's parents.

Chicken man! (see post below)

From left to right: Mike, Hilary, me, and John, after dinner at Grizzly Peak. When we arrived at the restaurant, we were told that it would be an 1.5-2 hour wait, but the bar was first-come, first-serve. We decided to wait for something to open up at the bar. Luckily, as we were standing there, a guy came out and told us that his friend was just paying and that we could go in and take his table. It was awesome! We tried to pass on the favor as we left, but there was no one waiting at that point.
