Lunar Eclipse! Lunar Eclipse!

Growing up, I absolutely loved the moon and I have always felt an affectionate connection with it (and my more dramatic and supernatural side has felt a mystery about it), so I was excited for tonight's eclipse. It did not disappoint. Despite the chilling weather, John and I stood outside for a good 10 minutes watching the last brilliant sliver fade away, leaving a rust red ball in the sky. Using my new nifty Gorillapod (awesome flexible tripod) on the back of his friends' car, he got some great shots! So enjoy as I warm up my toesies. :-)
